When you use LetterSure to generate a letter, we collect the information you enter into the form. This includes your name, address, the recipient's details, and a description of your situation. We also collect standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type when you visit our website.
We use the information you provide solely to generate your letter. Your letter content is passed to our AI provider to create the letter text and is not stored on our servers after delivery. We do not use your information for marketing purposes without your consent.
We use Anthropic's Claude AI to generate letters. Your form data is sent to Anthropic's API for this purpose and is subject to Anthropic's privacy policy. We use Stripe to process payments — your payment details are handled directly by Stripe and we never see your card information. We do not sell your personal data to any third parties.
We use essential cookies to make our website work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings but this may affect how the site works.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, and object to processing of your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@lettersure.co.uk.
We do not store your letter content after it has been delivered to you. Basic technical logs are kept for up to 30 days for security purposes. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by UK tax law.
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information. Our website uses HTTPS encryption. Your API key and payment credentials are stored securely and never exposed in our code.
